Keep five card
winning pat hands except when you can draw one card to get the
royal flush.
Don't break a flush; even if you can draw one to
a straight flush, but of course break a flush to draw to get a
royal flush.
You don't want to break a straight to get a
straight flush, your chances of winning will go down and you
will lose money.
If you have a jack or higher in your hand do
not draw five cards, chances are you can make something with
that jack or better. If however, you have a ten in your hand
don't keep it for a four card draw. You will have better
chances if you just draw fives cards to make a winning hand.
